Did I Mention I Love Comments?

Well, I do! I love getting feedback. Even if you have nothing to say, let me know you stopped by. Don't be shy. I want to know who's stopping by and checking in on us. It's nice to know someone is reading what I'm writing. Thanks!

Inside The House

Zerrin's room. Obviously, not complete yet, but you get the idea. Zerrin has been a real trooper. The move didn't upset his sleep schedule one bit. He loves the new house and his new big room!
Upstairs hall way bathroom. Nice and spacious. I love have drawers in the bathroom to organize things. That's something we've been missing for two years!
The computer nook. I love having a little space...out of the way and out of plain sight of the kids. Zerrin has been playing less on the computer...which is a good thing since he deleted our money file last week. Aaahhh!
Master Bedroom. Not a very good picture, but it is a nice size, with lots of windows and a full bath plus a ...
Spacious walk in closet....Love it!
Spacious walk in storage! Nice...something I've never had before. I love the space!

West side of the living room. Not fully decorated yet....so it's a little blah.
More storage space under the stairs. Did I mention I like the storage space?
Spacious Laundry room. Notice the rug on the floor. This was given to me for my wedding and I have not been able to use it since. I finally have a room where it fits and is usefull. It absorbed quite a bit of the flood that occurred on our 6th day in the house. Yes, that's right...a flood. It was a little over sight on Todd's part. He forgot to put the drain pipe in the drain hole in the wall. So when I did my first load of laundry...it kind of spilled all over the floor...into the kitchen and into the garage where Todd had recently placed all of our food storage and other boxes. Nothing like breaking us in slowly...needless to say, it set us back a day while the walls dried. It's all better now. We were really blessed that most of our things were in rubbermaid totes. So nothing was really damaged but Todd's pride.
Downstairs half bath. Yet it's twice the size of our other bathroom in the old house.
Brynne's room. Also not completely decorated yet. She has spent maybe two nights in her bed. The rest have been either on the floor or in my bed. Note: I have NEVER let my kids sleep with me. But after working all day long and fighting this little girl to go to bed. When she crept into my room that first night and peeped her little head over my shoulder, how could I resist. It didn't help that I was doped up on sleeping meds, so I was a little delirious and caved in.

Danielle and Sydney's room which Zerrin and Brynne took the liberty of decorating on their own. They found some paints in the girls dresser (which I had forgotten about since we didn't unload dressers for the move since it was just down the street.) So as I was putting the kitchen together, Zerrin and Brynne were painting. I almost lost it. Luckily, the housing office has been very understanding and is supplying us with paint to cover up the mess.
Isn't it beautiful. The girls just love pink! (NOT!)
Spacious dining area with LINOLEUM! I have wished and longed for linoleum under our table for two years now. It is so nice...although the all white kitchen is impossible to keep clean.
But again, there is so much space...how can I complain? I can actually open my dishwasher and refridgerator at the same time and not trip! It is so nice. And I have counter space! Woohoo!
The east end of the living room. Sorry the pictures don't go in order...I'm not really good at this whole blogging thing yet. And the pictures are more for my mom's benefit than anyone else, but I hope you enjoyed the tour. We're not done decorating yet. But my mom is coming to visit next week, so I'm sure she'll help me out!
Did I use the word "Spacious" enough? This house is easily twice as big as our old house, if not more. There is so much space, I keep losing the kids. It's hard to keep track of them...and they keep getting into trouble. Can't wait until the newness wears off.

LOVE IT!!! I'm sure you are so happy! Especially since you won't have to move out of this house until you go to another duty station! Maybe we'll be neighbors for a couple of months if we go out there next.

Looks fantastic! I'll have to come and see it in person to get the whole effect though...
