In September, I was in need of hair color. Highlights to be exact. So I tried someone new here in Oceanside. I still wanted to be blonde, I just wanted it a little....less platinum for fall. Well, I don't know exactly what she did to my hair, but my blonde highlights somehow turned a mossy shade of green/brown. Being the impulsive person that I am (at least when it comes to my hair) I decided to take matters into my own hands and this is the result. Ronald McDonald.

So I colored it again, this time adding brown to not be so Ronald McDonaldish. And it was so dark, I looked Gothic. This picture doesn't really do it justice. Definitely not me.

Then it faded and looked okay. This is how much it faded after just one wash. I liked it better than the mossy green/brown, but I am still not happy. I wanted to be blonde, not red. On the plus side, I really like my haircut. I also have an appointment to get my color corrected (by a real pro...I don't trust anyone else with my hair!) So in about two weeks, I'll be back to my beautiful (I'm not vain) blonde self again. But in the mean time....

I figure, what the heck...I look crazy anyway. Why not really go RED and look like a punk!
Actually, this is my halloween costume. Not sure what it is, but it's fun. Nothing like wearing fake eyelashes to make you feel like your eyelashes are nothing. I'm almost tempted to wear some everyday!

I definitely think the red red looks the best. But only if you wear the eyelashes. ;)
You look great, despite the hair debacle.
I like the second to last picture. That color does look good. I like the hair cut as well. I need to figure out what to do with my hair fast so we can get family pics done.
