We went to the Bates Nut Farm last Wednesday. The kids had so much fun. The first thing Zerrin said when he got out of the car was, "It's stinky, Daddy!" Welcome to farm country, boy!
The kids rode on donkeys, and to my surprise, Brynne loved it. I wasn't worried about Bubba, that boy is so adventurous. But Brynne is all girl. A little princess most of the time. But not this day. She loved the animals, even petted a pink pig.
We picked out a couple of big pumpkins to carve this week for the Trick or Treaters.

You have no idea how much coordination it took to get this family picture. After about 4 shots, this is the best we got, and of course, I'm the one that comes out looking like a dork with my eyes closed. Oh well. But it is fun to see how much the kids have changed since last year. We brought them to this same spot. It was much more fun this time. And the kids are getting closer and closer in size. In the one of them together on the pumpkins, they look like they could be twins.

On another note, I'm so excited that Brynne's hair has grown out enough to put in pig tails again. And I finally got her some clothes she will wear. It has to be pink and it has to be soft. If it isn't pink, it has to have buttons. And if it is both, all the better. Pink with buttons is the way to go! She had been wearing pajamas all day everyday because she refused to wear jeans or shorts of any kind. Thanks to Mervyn's for having a half price sale!
