A couple funny stories

The last week or so, Zerrin and Brynne have both been having a few "accidents." I have been really frustrated with it since I thought we were done "Potty Training." Anyway, on Friday, the day we went to Disneyland (California Adventure) Brynne had peed herself about 3 or 4 times. And Zerrin had at least one accident. Then, on the drive to Anaheim, Zerrin decided he needed to go. We were no where near a gas station or fast food place, so we took an exit and let him go in the grass. Then we went on our way. About 10 minutes later, Zerrin had to go again. "Are you kidding me?" Only this time, it was bumper to bumper, slow and go...no way I'm getting off the freeway here! So, Todd got in the back seat, got Zerrin out of his carseat (Cringe!) and let him pee in a sippy cup. Yummy. Then Brynne decided she needed to pee. Letting Zerrin pee in a cup was one thing. But Todd was not enthusiastic about holding the already warm sippy cup between Brynne's legs. So she held it. Yes, the girl who had peed herself half a dozen times earlier in the day held it for about 20 minutes until we reached our destination. Where is the logic in that? She'll pee her pants when she is home, and the potty is just around the corner, but she can hold it when the potty is 20 minutes away. I figured out what the difference was. Her costume. I guess I need to put her in the pink bunny suit everyday, so she will stay dry.
