Did I Mention I Love Comments?

Well, I do! I love getting feedback. Even if you have nothing to say, let me know you stopped by. Don't be shy. I want to know who's stopping by and checking in on us. It's nice to know someone is reading what I'm writing. Thanks!

What we've been up to lately...

Drawing in my beige couch with blue ink pen. Let's just say one little boy is lucky to still be with us. Just kidding, but I was so seriously mad at the time. I did get it out with a lot of elbow grease and rubbing alcohol. I love micro suede.
We celebrated my birthday on Feb. 4th. Todd surprised me with a dozen red roses.

We made Valentine's Day cards for our friends and family. What a mess. Memo to me: never let the kids use glue on their own ever again!

Taking a nap in her princess dress. As usual. But this time, she changed it up a bit and fell asleep on the kitchen floor.

Getting all dressed up in her new dress. Isn't she precious? She sure looks pretty in blue.

Grandma and Grandpa Jones came to visit. Grandma loves Bubba's kisses. He just kept kissing her and kissing her. So of course I had to get a picture of it. I know Grandma wants a copy.

Cross dressing. I don't know what gets into this boy. But one day, I found him dressed in Brynne's too small, very pink and mis-matched pajamas. Poor kid. This is going to be some fantastic blackmail when he's 15 or so....

Painting prayer rocks. We collected some really nice smooth rocks from Carlsbad beach, near the tide pools and we painted them today for a family activity. Here is a couple of the finished products.

Brynne painting her rock pink, of course. It is her favorite color.

Body painting. I figured, hey, it washes off with water, right? So I let the kids go a little wild with the paints. It was fun. Messy, but fun. Now I just have to make sure those paints stay under lock and key. We all know what potential for disaster this one has written all over it.
