Did I Mention I Love Comments?

Well, I do! I love getting feedback. Even if you have nothing to say, let me know you stopped by. Don't be shy. I want to know who's stopping by and checking in on us. It's nice to know someone is reading what I'm writing. Thanks!

You don't have to tell me, I already know...

Alright, alright. I know I suck at blogging. It's only been what? 4 months since my last update. And what has changed? Only everything.
Here's a recap.
In May we decided to pull the girls out of school early and get them home before the holiday (summer break) rush. I went to Utah with 4 children in tow. Danielle and Sydney went to stay with their mom for the summer. Danielle was going to stay the whole school year, and Sydney was going to come back to Okinawa for the school year, but since changed her mind. So I came back to Okinawa with only 2 kids in tow. And after that long flight by myself with 2 young children... I have vowed to never come home again.
I jest. But seriously, I will never fly alone with them again. If I can't have Todd with me, or someone over the age of 12... I'm not going. I will have more details in a post to follow. I couldn't blog on the plane, but I wrote in my journal. It was quite the experience. One I don't care to repeat. EVER.
We are finally back in Okinawa. We've been here for 5 days now and to my surprise, we are totally adjusted as far as the time difference goes. It was so much easier transitioning this time! And while it was good to be home and visit family, we are so thankful to be home again. There really is no place like home.

I can imagine your frustration! Plane travel with multiple young children is torture! ONE time, we flew from Washington to Pennsylvania with our 4 kids who were still in car seats....imagine getting through the airport with 4 car seats, stroller, suitcases for a family of six, and in the wee hours of the morning trying to get a rental car. I feel your pain! Glad you made it home safe and sound!
